Thanks from Mindwise charity
In the run up to World Mental Health Day MindWise clients, volunteers and staff organised a mental health awareness street collection in Banbridge, which took place on September 26.
£340.35 was raised for the local mental health charity.
Joice Mathew, the service manager, said: “Our resource centre here in Banbridge offers a range of activities and person-centred support based on our ethos of promoting recovery. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the local people and PSNI for supporting MindWise to organise this fundraising event and for raising awareness about mental health. MindWise would like to thank everyone in the Banbridge area who gave generously to the collection.”
