The Ballymena Retirement Group monthly meeting

THE MONTHLY meeting was held in Glenravel fold on May 5, with a very good attendance.

The speaker for the afternoon was Mrs Eileen Millar. While previously having a very responsible job with the International Trade and Services, she was very much involved with her many interests in arts and crafts. She talked about her job and family and at the same time she was painting candles with acrylic paint. She had many pieces of craft with her which were available for purchase.

Mrs Millar also had lots of pieces of jewellery which she had made and it was clear there is no end to her many interests. After this a lovely afternoon tea was served.
