The economic impact of the Clipper Homecoming Festival

FAR from being a 10-day party for Londonderry and the residents of the district, the Clipper Homecoming Festival, which gets underway next week, is being heralded as a vessel for positive economic impact in the north west.

Marketing Manager for Derry City Council, Clare Lundy, talks candidly about the council’s hopes for the Festival as a tourist attraction in it’s own right, as well as economic boost it should be as the first major pre-runner to the UK City of Culture 2013.
