George McCarroll, Chapter Director, told the Times that the HOGs made a successful move last year from Belfast to Coleraine.

"There will be around 300 of us coming to Coleraine with around 100 Harley Davidson bikes in total," he said.

"On Saturday morning (August 7th) at around 11am we will be having a mass ride-out from the Rugby Club out round the Antrim coast road.

"It should be quite a spectacular sight for anyone wishing to come and see us.

"Then later that afternoon, although the Hog in the Bog is a private event, we will be opening up the Rugby Club area from 4pm - 6pm for a bike show.

"Admission will be 2.50 for adults and children who are accompanied by an adult can come in for free. All proceeds will be donated to the Children's Hospice.

"There will be Harley owners and their bikes from all over Ireland, England, Scotland and possibly even from Norway," said George.

Anyone interested in seeing the bikes can come along to the bike show and make a donation to the Children's Hospice or check out the website www.provincewidehog.com
