The Jive Ace’s to play Hallowe’en gig

LONDONDERRY favourites The Jive Aces are coming to the North West for a special Hallowe’en charity gig for Children in Crossfire.

The jive and swing band have teamed up with the local charity for a special night of fun and dancing in Harry’s Restaurant, Bridgend.

Eileen Warren The Jive Aces’ number one fan and Children in Crossfire fundraiser introduced Richard Moore to the band during last years Jazz Festival.

The meeting between the Jives and Richard Moore began a unique friendship; with offers from the band to perform to support the amazing work of the local charity.

Hallowe’en is a special night for the city - which annually marks the occasion by hosting one of Europe’s biggest carnivals - and Children in Crossfire is sure The Jive Aces will love the celebrations.

The six piece has performed at thousands of festivals, theatres and events throughout the UK, Europe and USA, as well as Japan, Israel and the Caribbean, 30 countries in all.

The Jive Aces are renowned for their high energy Jump Jive music (the exciting sound where Swing meets Rock ‘n Roll) and spectacular stage show.

They combine a mixture of fresh arrangements of swing/Jive/R&B classics -they have worked with many of the top names in the business, including John Travolta, Status Quo, Isaac Hayes, Van Morrison, Priscilla Presley, and Chuck Berry.

Harry’s Restaurant is offering Children in Crossfire a special menu for the evening, supporters will receive a two course meal plus music from the fabulous Jive Aces for £30 per person.
