‘The Marriage Course’ at Ballyloughan

BALLYLOUGHAN Church will be the venue for ‘The Marriage Course’ beginning on Tuesday, April 9, at 7.30pm.

The Marriage Course is for any couple, whether you have been together for one year or 61 years, and whether you feel you have a strong relationship or are struggling. If you have a strong marriage this course will help you make it even better. If on the other hand your marriage is in difficulty, the course will help provide you with very practical tools to help you work through the issues.

Whatever your situation, the things you learn will help improve and strengthen your relationship.

The course includes practical talks that are informative and fun including topics such as building strong foundations, the art of communication, resolving conflict, the power of forgiveness, the impact of family. There’s no group work and you will not have to share anything about your relationship with anyone else.

You will be given topics to discuss as a couple, so music will be played and plenty of space provided around the hall for you to chat privately with each other. While The Marriage Course is based on Christian principles, it is designed for couples with or without a Christian faith and will not make anyone feel uncomfortable at all.

The course begins with a launch-night ‘meal for two’ on Tuesday, April 9, at 7.30pm in the church hall, continuing for six further nights on Tuesdays 16th, 23rd, 30th April, and 14th, 21st and 28th May. The course costs £20 per couple which covers the cost of food and manuals.
