The morning after the night before

As can be seen in our slideshow, the after-effects of sustained heavy rains recently were the next day evident along Dromore’s riverbanks and out in the fields.

The Black Bog Road, between Dromore and Dromara, gave every appearance of having sprouted not one, but two, new roadside lakes, where only hours before the view was one of green fields, and the River Lagan was running high and hard through Dromore, overflowing its banks on the outskirts and churning white in the town centre.
