The one who beholds us walks lovingly by our side
“Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith” Heb 10:22
As you awake offer a prayer of thanks
For the goodness of God each day,
In His word He has clearly assured us
That He has already provided the way.
Hold on to your faith and keep hopeful
And your confidence He will restore,
To give thought to prayers already answered
‘Twill strengthen you more and more.
When we trust we rise and conquer
As in His promise we calmly abide,
Never forgetting the one who beholds us
Walks lovingly by our side.
Endeavour to show kindness as you go
An encouraging thought never goes astray,
Of life’s many lessons, a tactful word
May be all that is needed today.
