The School Around the Bend fundraiser

A number of well-known local characters from the Ballycastle area are taking part in a charity fundraising event this Friday 4th December in the Marine Hotel.

They are going back in time to their childhood for ‘The School Around The Bend’ with host Frank Mitchell. The evening will also feature Ireland’s No1 Comedy Hypnotist Adrian Knight. He will be asking for willing volunteers to perform a half hour comedy hypnotist show and then select the best subjects to take part in a part of ‘The Gerry Springer Show’ as you have never seen before with hilarious results.

Money raised will go towards a school in Uganda under the St Francis Helper Programme. As drought occurs often in Uganda, there is serious problem with water, so the group from Ballycastle will build a huge underground water tank which will store water till the rainy season comes. This show is the first fundraiser of many towards this project.
