The search for cyclist continues

the search for missing Kells cyclist Sam Campbell continued over the past week, covering an area between Carnlough and Broughshane.

On Friday afternoon, police officers once again combed the area where the 49-year-old family man may have passed through on his bicycle on New Year’s Day.

Police Air Support and Sky Watch Civil Air Patrol also searched the coastline. Mr Campbell’s bicycle was found in Glenarm.

The latest searches follow a reconstruction to try to job memories of anyone who may have seen the missing man.

When last seen, Mr Campbell - an electrical contractor - was wearing a red top with the symbol TCG, black cycling leggings and cycle glasses.

Anyone who may have seen him or may have any information that could assist police with their inquiries is urged to contact the PSNI on 0845 600 8000.

Police would like to thank partner agencies and the community for their assistance during the investigation.
