The Somme and the Twelfth in Limavady district

The service was led by District Chaplains, Rev B Hassan and Rev A Smyth and after the service and Act of Remembrance a wreath laying ceremony took place together with a parade led by bands from the District.

The Parade route took in Protestant Street, Catherine Street, Linenhall Street, Main Street, Ballyclose Street, Church Street, Alexander Road, Main Street, Connell Street, Irish Green Street, Roemill Gardens, Roemill Road, Rathbrady Road, Massey Avenue, Protestant Street, Catherine Street, Limavady Orange Hall.

Meanwhile, on Sunday, July 12, the annual Church Service for the District will be held this year in 2nd Limavady Presbyterian Church on Sunday, July 12 at 4pm and the speaker will be Bro John Martin of No Surrender LOL 255.

Assemble on William Street from 3pm for parade at 3.30pm, accompanied by Boveva Flute Band and Bellarena Accordion Band.

Parade route to the Church will be William Street, Roemill Road, Catherine Street, Linenhall Street, Main Street, Connell Street, Irish Green Street, 2nd Limavady Presbyterian Church.

After the service the parade will reform and parade to the dispersal point via Irish Green Street, Catherine Street, Protestant Street.
