The Twelfth: An early start for the Londonderry District Brethren

It was an early start under overcast skies for the Londonderry Brethren.

It may have been the Glorious Twelfth, but the weather was shaping up to be anything but kind this morning, as bandsmen and Orange Brethren and Sisters made their way to The Fountain and Society Street to form up for a parade through the city.

In a warm-up parade they left the city by parading with a host of colourful bands through the town centre, across Craigavon Bridge and along Spencer Road and Clooney Terrace to waiting coaches to take them to the Flagship Twelfth demonstration in Limavady.
