Theft from cars in tourist areas

Police are investigating two thefts from a parked cars belonging to tourists in the Causeway Coast and Glens area.

In the first incident a parked car was broken into on the Dunluce Road, Bushmills on Monday 6 July. In a second incident, a car belonging to a French tourist had a window smashed as it was parked on the Torr Road, Ballycastle.

Chief Inspector Mark McClarence said: “I am asking anyone who may know anything about these incidents to contact police in Coleraine via the non-emergency number 101. Police are working hard to make visitors feel safe and welcome across Causeway Coast and Glens, so please report any suspicious activity in and around tourist spots to us immediately.”
