These boots were made for walking – Council’s Guided Walks Programme launched

COLERAINE Borough Council is encouraging everyone to get their walking boots on as the Guided Walks Programme for summer 2012 is launched.

As part of this year’s Guided Walks Programme, Council’s Biodiversity Officer has organised a number of events to encourage people to take part in the ‘Biodiversity Games’.

This is a recording project supported by the National Lottery through the Heritage Lottery Fund, ‘Your Heritage’, which aims to get people involved in helping their local biodiversity by ‘getting recording’. For further information on these biodiversity events, please contact Rachel Bain, Biodiversity Officer on 028 7034 7272.
