James O’Reilly, 41, from Armagh, is serving a six month sentence at HMP Magheraberry.

The court heard how, on the night of November 11, he refused to pay for two bottles of WKD which he had opened and drank on the forecourt of the Beer Shed on Annagher Road.

Police were called and he had to be brought outside as he was being verbally abusive to both staff and passers-by.

He was searched and two WKD bottle tops were found in his pockets. He later offered to pay for the two bottles of drink.

Deputy District Judge Anne Marshall imposed two four month prison sentences for theft and disorderly behaviour, ordering that they run concurrently to each other but consecutive to his present sentence.
