Thieves disturbed by alarm
DETECTIVES are investigating an attempted burglary at a public bar in Portglenone on Tuesday.
Police believe thieves tried to gain entry to the bar at Kilrea Road at around 4am but were disturbed by the alarm going off. Damage was caused to a rear window.
Anyone who may have noticed any suspicious activity or vehicles acting suspiciously in the area between 3am and 4am is asked to contact Police on 0845 600 8000 or call Crimestoppers in confidence on 0800 555 111.
