Thieves steal 14 college laptops

THIEVES have made off with a large number of laptop computers belonging to the Northern Regional College.

On Wednesday of last week it was reported to police that 14 Toshiba laptops, two printers, a scanner, a digital project and a trolley were stolen from a garage at Cherry Gardens in Ballymoney which is used by the college.

The equipment was kept in a vehicle which was broken into.

A spokesperson for the Northern Regional College did not wish to comment on the theft so the possible impact of the burglary on students is unknown.
