Thieves steal charity boxes from Whiteabbey eatery
Police investigating a burglary at a fast food outlet at the junction of Shore Road and Glenville Road in Whiteabbey have issued an appeal for information.
Sometime between 3pm on Sunday, November 17 and 8.30am the following day, a number of unknown persons gained entry to The Chip Yard by kicking through an external vent.
The thieves made off with two charity boxes and a sum of cash.
Investigating officers have appealed for anyone with information about the incident to contact them at Newtownabbey Station on 0845 600 8000.
