Thieves steal diggeron Sheriff's Road

The PSNI at Strand Road are appealing for information following the theft of plant equipment in the Sheriff’s Road area of Londonderry.

An orange Hitachi Zakas 130 tracked excavator along with rock breaker and riddling bucket attachments were stolen.

Constable Gareth Montgomery said: “The theft is believed to have taken place between 6pm on Friday, June 10 and 9.30am the following morning. I would appeal to anyone who may have noticed anything suspicious in the area between those times, or anyone who may have information that could assist the investigation, to contact police on 101 quoting reference 712 of June 11.

“Alternatively, information can be given anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
