Thieves target mass goers cars in Portglenone

Police are investigating three reports of cars having been broken into and various items stolen last Saturday night.

The cars were parked on the Ballymena Road, Portglenone while people were attending mass.

Various items were taken from inside the cars, including a handbag containing a small sum of cash.

Police are investigating reports that people in a small black car, possibly a Peugeot 101 or Citroen Saxo were acting suspiciously in the area at the time.
