'Think about First Aid' says Red Cross

THE British Red Cross has announced its intention to expand its Community Based First Aid service in the North West and is encouraging community-based and statutory organisations to get in touch.

Working in partnership with Causeway Volunteer Centre manager Marie-Louise McClarey, the charity will be holding three FREE ‘First Aid Awareness’ sessions from 7 to 9pm in the following venues across the Causeway area.

On Thursday, June 10 at Patchwork Offices, 34C New Row, Coleraine, Thursday, June 17 at Ballymoney Community Resource Centre, Unit 1, Doultone Business Park, 25 Ballymena Road and on Thursday, June a24 t Cushendall Development Group Conference Facility, Old School House, Mill Street.

The Red Cross will be sending out freepost questionnaires to all organisation and groups in the Coleraine area to find out their specific First Aid requirements.
