This is a disgrace

FROM:- Taghnevan Pensioner (via e-mail).

I have lived in Taghnevan with my husband all my married life, we both have worked hard all through the years and looked forward to a peaceful retirement.

But that is not possible living hear surrounded by young ones drunk or high on something. Almost every day and night they are there drinking and messing the place up.

It seems to get worse as the weeks go by it is a disgrace. I remember the time that this sort of carry on would not have been tolerated in Taghnevan, when the men would have stood together and moved these young thugs on but I only see the odd man trying to move them on. Sometimes they move and return later and destroy the heart of the estate lighting fires, drinking, swearing throwing stones.

I would be ashamed if I thought any of my grandchildren would behave like this.

These are not all young ones some of them look to be in their twenties, someone needs to put a stop to this carry on. My husband is in ill-health but times he gets so angry at what these young boys are doing he wants to go out to confront them. I am afraid that they will upset him and this would damage his health more, so can someone please do something before someone gets hurt.
