Due to threatened industrial action within Irish Rail, Translink is advising passengers that there will be no guarantee of cross border services operating on Sun 24th and Mon 25th August.

Cross Border train services will operate between Belfast and Newry only. There will be no onwards rail replacement bus services between Newry and cross border destinations.

The normal scheduled Belfast to Newry timetable will be maintained on these dates however, services will be operated by an NI Railways local train and not the Enterprise train. As such, there will be no First Plus or catering available.
