Threatened to burn down house - accusation

A COOKSTOWN man, accused of sending a threatening message to burn down a woman’s house, has been released on bail.

Appearing before East Tyrone Magistrate’s Court was Filipe Ramos Ribeiro Nuno, 38, of Edinburgh Drive.

He is also charged with assaulting a woman and a man.

All the charges are alleged to have occurred on September 8-9 this year.

District Judge John Meehan adjourned the case until October 26.
