Three appointed to Library Board
Arts and Culture Minister Carál Ní Chuilín MLA has announced the appointment of the following new Councillor Members to the Libraries NI Board following an open competition.
Lisburn and Castlereagh City Councillors Stephen Martin, Jenny Palmer and Janet Gray were appointed to the Board.
Welcoming the appointments the Minister said: “Libraries NI plays a pivotal role within communities, offering opportunities for individuals, particularly those from deprived areas or who feel socially excluded, to make a difference to their lives.
“I believe those appointed have the requisite skills and experience to ensure Libraries NI continues to significantly contribute to society.”
