A 40-year-old man from Lurgan, a 36-year-old man and a 37-year-old woman from Craigavon were arrested on Tuesday morning in connection with the murder of Constable Stephen Carroll.

A teenager and a 38-year-old man, a former Sinn Fein councillor, have previously been remanded in custody charged with the murder.

The dissident republican group the Continuity IRA said it killed the 48-year-old Banbridge father.

He was murdered two days after the Real IRA shot dead two soldiers outside Massereene Barracks in Antrim.
