Three men treated in hospital following Ballyclare attack

DETECTIVES have appealed for witnesses following an alleged attack on a number of men in Ballyclare town centre in the early hours of Tuesday morning (April 2).

It’s understood that three men were taken to hospital for treatment after being attacked by a number of males in the Main Street area sometime after 1am.

At the time of going to print, a PSNI spokesman said it still wasn’t clear how many people were involved in the incident, but he confirmed that none of the injured men were thought to have been seriously hurt.

Investigating officers have appealed for anyone who witnessed the incident to contact them at Newtownabbey Station on 0845 600 8000. Alternatively, information can be passed on anonymously via the Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111.
