The court heard that around 2.10am a police mobile patrol saw the defendant throw a bottle which struck the front bumper of a car.

Wozniak, who was intoxicated, refused to provide her details to police and was abusive to a passenger in the vehicle.

Mr Conor Downey, representing the defendant, said she had been out celebrating St Patrick’s Day and was involved in an exchange of words with the occupants of a car.

He added that she had a lot of alcohol taken but she accepted she should not have behaved in this manner.

District Judge, Mr Mervyn Bates, said he did not see the need for a report in this case and hoped it was just a one-off incident.
