Threw pot plant at window court told
A man who smashed a window with a pot plant was given a suspended prison sentence last Friday at Craigavon Magistrates Court.
Jonathan Stewart Dickson (36), Colban Crescent, Lurgan, admitted criminal damage to a front door on August 2 last year. He was sentenced to four months in prison, suspended for two years.
The court heard that at 12.05am a window was broken at a property at Spelga Park in Lurgan.
A defence barrister said it was a ‘completely mindless’ offence when Dickson had thrown a pot plant at the window and his client had acted stupidly after taking alcohol.
