Thunderstorm causes ceiling to collapse in Magherafelt Courthouse
Tuesday night’s thunderstorm has resulted in business at Magherafelt Courthouse being transferred this morning to Antrim.
It is understood the torrential rain brought down a ceiling and allowed flood water into the 240-year-old building at Hospital Road.
The Courthouse, a Listed Building, had been due to close this year but this was recently delayed until late 2015.
