Time running out for 'People's Millions'

THERE is now just over a week left for groups in the Craigavon area to put in their bids to win up to £50,000 in the Big Lottery Fund's People's Millions contest 2010.

The Big Lottery Fund is joining forces with UTV to encourage Craigavon organisations to enter the People’s Millions contest before the noon deadline on May 14.

The contest gives local groups the chance to appear on UTV and win a grant of up to 50,000 to improve and enrich their communities.

The Big Lottery Fund has five awards of up to 50,000 up for grabs across Northern Ireland. Projects will go head to head on TV to win the public’s support and share in up to 250,000 of Lottery good cause money.

This year a new streamlined online entry form will mean that applying to the contest will be even simpler. Entry forms for The People’s Millions are available from today by calling the hotline: 08450 10 11 12 or by visiting www.peoplesmillions.org.uk
