Titanic theme for Ravarnette WI
RAVARNETTE: President Brenda Gillespie welcomed everyone to the April meeting of the WI and introduced Isobel Anderson to talk on Titanic and Old Belfast. She gave an interesting talk and with her slides made it a very enjoyable evening.
The President gave a vote of thanks.
The competition was for ‘A Sea Shell’ and was won by Sandra Irvine with Rosaline Gabbie second and Elizabeth Jess third.
Ballot winner was Elizabeth Bell.
After supper the evening ended with A Country Woman’s Song.
