TOILETS REOPEN: where to ‘spend a penny’

Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council is reopening its public toilets in a phased approach from Saturday, June 13.

The initial phase will see amenities reopen at the following beaches and coastal locations from 11am – 7pm daily:

Portballintrae

Whiterocks, Portrush

East Strand, Portrush

West Strand, Portrush

Kerr Street, Portrush

Atlantic Circle, Portstewart

Castlerock

Downhill

Ballycastle (Automatic PC’s)

Cushendun

Mill Street, Cushendall

Ballintoy Harbour

Benone (The Ark)

Waterfoot

Extra safety measures will be in place and staff will be on site regularly to maintain high standards of hygiene. Toilets will be closed periodically for cleaning purposes and social distancing must be adhered to at all times.

Users should ensure that they practice good hand hygiene and signage will be place to emphasise the importance of continuing to follow all safety guidelines.
