Tom Shaw back for Glenwherry meetings

FOLLOWING the wonderful teaching week last year, members of Glenwherry Presbyterian Church have invited Rev. Tom Shaw back for a similar event.

This will run from Sunday, October 24, until Friday, October 29.

Throughout the week, Tom will be speaking on 1 John 3, which answers the question, “Why Should We Live For God?”

On Sunday, October 24, there will be services at 12noon and 7pm, with community singing at 6.45pm.

These will focus of the topics, ‘unearthly love’ and ‘what we are and what we will be.’

The weeknight meetings begin at 8pm with community singing from 7.50pm.

Subjects covered will be: ‘Christ’s coming and our attitude’, (Monday); ‘Transgressing the law, (Tuesday); ‘Abiding, sinning, straying, (Wednesday); ‘Satan is alive but not all well’, (Thursday); ‘Results of being born of God, (Friday.)

The people of Glenwherry would love you to join them at any or all of the talks being given by Tom Shaw during the exciting week to come.
