‘Tomb Travel’ is talk subject
The next meeting of Banbridge Historical Society will take place on Thursday October 3 at 7.30pm in the Old Town Hall.
The speaker will be Harry Welsh who will talk about ‘Tomb Travel.’ He will describe the main features of the megalithic tombs and place them in a wide context of time and place which relates the prehistoric people of Northern Ireland to those of other parts of north-west Europe. Membership is £15 a year and visitors pay £3 per talk. Refreshments are provided.
