Tony Lavery Fleadh this weekend

The Tony Lavery Fleadh kicks off this weekend with a splendid array of sessions across Lurgan, Portadown and Derrymacash.

The first session is in the Tunnel Bar, Portadown on Thursday at 9pm and promises to be a fun night of music and craic.

On Friday night there’s be a folk session in St Paul’s GAA Club in Lurgan from 8.30pm plus a Bluegrass session in the Corner House Bar, Derrymacash at 9pm.

Plus the Mad for Trad session with be in JPs Bar, Lurgan at 9.30pm.

On Saturday night there will be the Fleadh Hooley and all sessions will take place in The Corner House Bar kicking off with the Trasna Session at 8.30pm with the Fleadh Hooley Trad session at 9.30pm.

On Sunday after the All Ireland Final, ‘A Man You Don’t Meet Everyday’ session is in the Orchard County Bar at 4pm and the Crossey Session at 8pm at the Stables Bar. The Fleadh Finale Sessions will be at the Corner House, Derrymacash at 8pm.

The obligatory Hangover Session will be in Reid’s Bar on Monday at 3pm.

All venues are open to extra sessions outside the programme all weekend. Everyone is welcome.
