Took mother’s car without consent
A learner driver took his mother’s car without her consent, Craigavon Magistrates Court heard last Friday.
Tyler Hamilton (20), Old Fort Lodge, Craigavon, was fined £250 and given eight points for driving without insurance on June 3 this year.
He was also fined £100 for taking a car without the consent of the owner, £75 for not having a test certificate, £60 for not displaying ‘L’ plates and £60 for driving without a supervisor..
Mr Hugo Marley, defending, said it was a one off situation and when stopped his client made an immediate admission.
