Tools stolen at Glenavy Road

Detectives have made an appeal for information following a break-in at commercial premises at an industrial estate in the vicinity of the Glenavy Road area of Lisburn.

Detective Sergeant James Johnson explained: “A considerable number of tools were taken when a number of units at the premises were entered at around 1am on Tuesday June 14.

“Tools taken included a diesel generator, an angle grinder, battery drills, electric jigsaws, nail guns, electric welder a, electric drills, chop saw, a laser level and two battery grinders.

“Some of the tools have the inscription “RH” on them.

Police have also recovered a power washer.

“We are keen to hear from anyone who noticed anything suspicious in the area around this time. Did you see any vehicles in the area? If you can help please contact the police on the non-emergency number 101.

“Alternatively information about crime can be passed via the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111. Also if believe the power washer to be yours, we would like to hear from you.”
