Top accolade for Rebecca

LURGAN teenager Rebecca Murnaghan has been honoured at a ceremony at Hillsborough Castle. The eighteen-year-old Lurgan College student who is currently preparing her for A levels scored a pre-exams boost when she was appointed to serve in the role of her Majesty's Lord Lieutenant Cadet for the County of Armagh for the coming year.

The role which is largely ceremonial will see Rebecca, who is an enthusiastic and accomplished Cadet Regimental Sergeant Major with the Lurgan open Detachment of the Army Cadet Force, attend Colonel The Lord Caledon on major civic occasions.
