Top gospel band in concert

TOP local Country Gospel Band, Live Issue, will be appearing in Gilford Orange Hall on Tuesday, February 9, for a one off concert.

Since Live Issue reformed back in 2006, the band’s unique style of music and ministry has reached a whole new generation across Ireland, the United Kingdom and America.

The past year has seen Live Issue release another new album entitled “Makin’ Plans” and a very successful tour of the United States, including their debut appearance on the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville. In addition to this the group co-hosted the world famous Ernest Tubb Midnight Jamboree with George Hamilton IV.

Live Issue literally made history in Nashville by becoming the first group from Ireland to perform on the stage of the Grand Ole Opry and only the second group from the British Isles.

To appear at either of these venues would be ‘a dream come’ true for any artist in the Country music business, and yet this great honour has fallen to the five members of an unassuming Country Gospel band based just outside Lurgan.

The concert in Gilford Orange Hall begins at 8pm and tickets, which are available at the door, cost 7.
