Of his inclusion in the UK’s Top 10 Undergraduates of the Year he said: “I feel very privileged. It was a great honour to be considered.”
The competition is run by TARGETjobs and Paul, along with other entrants, was required to go through various stages, including answering a series of questionnnaires and delivering a presentation, in order to be shortlisted.
He still lives with his family - which includes his mum, Braide and dad, Brian, as well as his three brothers, David, Mark and Stephen and his sister Alison - in Knockramer Meadows, although he’ll soon be moving out as he plans to get married next year.

Paul is currently looking around for a job for whenever he finishes at Queen’s and has sat Microsoft exams, and is hoping to secure a career in computer software.
Paul is one of three students at Queen’s University to be included in the Top 10 Undergraduates of the Year. Also included are Caron Malone of Belfast and Craig McCarter, from Coleraine.
