Top mark honour for College pupil
Emma Sugden, currently in year 13 at Carrickfergus College, achieved the top mark in Northern Ireland in GCSE Ancient History.
The GCSE by English exam board OCR runs throughout the whole of the United Kingdom and Emma also gained 18th place overall.
The school described it as a “thoroughly amazing achievement” and extended congratulations to Emma, her family and teacher Mr Webber.
