Top of the classHarpur’s Hill Primary School receives Centre of Excellence Award

AS part of Global Entrepreneurship Week, Young Enterprise Northern Ireland presented a special award to Harpur’s Hill Primary School in Coleraine for promoting enterprise and entrepreneurship in the school.

resenting the Award, Jeff Gallagher, Development Manager for Young Enterprise’s North West Region, commented: ‘Harpur’s Hill Primary School has been working with Young Enterprise for many years, to promote business and enterprise to pupils, in order to help them develop skills and qualities which will undoubtedly help them in their future careers.

“This award recognises the fact that the school has facilitated a large amount of Young Enterprise business programmes over a considerable number of years, in partnership with business leaders from the local community.

“All Young Enterprise Programmes complement the new NI Curriculum, which challenges schools to add value to students’ learning experience, and they thoroughly deserve this recognition.

“We are delighted to present this Centre of Excellence Award to Harpur’s Hill Primary School, and look forward to working with them in partnership for many years to come.”
