Top of the Hillfruit & veg
RASPBERRY, blackcurrant and gooseberry will be planted in a new allotment in the Top of the Hill area of the Waterside, it’s been revealed.
Top of the Hill 2010 want to establish the allotment between Mimosa Court and Corrody Road.
Groundwork NI are due to carry out the work that will include raised beds and a fruit bush bed.
A further bed will be left free for the community to plant.
The allotments will be located on a grass area adjacent to 11-14 Corrody Road
It will be enclosed with a 1.8m high green mesh fence and will include an access path, raised beds and planting areas.
