Top scholar Jacob to meet Clinton
A LARNE student is to receive a prestigious scholarship from former US President Bill Clinton this Saturday.
Jacob Armstrong, who left St Killian’s College in the summer to study mathematics at Oxford, is one of four young people from Co Antrim who will receive funding towards their third-level education in a ceremony at the University of Limerick.
The All-Ireland Scholarships - sponsored by business magnate JP McManus - are awarded each year to 125 high-achieving students.
