Torr ‘refusal’ for wind turbine
PLANNERS are minded to refuse a proposal for a wind turbine at 1.6km north west of 150 Torr Road, Cushendun.
The applicant is Mr Liam Hamilton and the plan was for a turbine with a 30 metres hub height.
Planners say it would have an unacceptable adverse impact on visual amenity and would not be sensitive to the landscape quality of the Antrim Coast and Glens Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
