Tourism enquiries very low
THE tourist information point in Lurgan received no phone calls, emails or postal enquiries during the entire month of August.
There were only 55 enquiries to the facility now based in Lurgan Town Hall and all of these came from people coming in off the street. This is in stark contrast to the 652 ‘counter’ enquiries at Lough Neagh Discovery Centre and 294 at Portadown Tourist Information Point in the Millennium Court Arts Centre.
