Tourism queries tumble
THE slump in tourism because of the credit crunch was highlighted when the number of queries received at Ballycastle Tourist Information Centre in December was down almost a third compared to the same month in 2010 when the area was snow-bound.
Figures revealed by Moyle Council show there there 355 queries in December 2010 compared to just 261 in December 2011.
