Town Centre Development Group ‘ready’ to do business

The Board elected Andrew Storey, Store Manager at Boots Ballymena as Chairman and William Alexander as combined Company Secretary and Treasurer, At their meeting on June 14.

Ballymena Town Centre Development Ltd is led by a strong Board of Business Leaders and local councillors, who understand the town and are committed to overcoming the challenges and maximising the opportunities in order to ensure Ballymena is considered to be a leading Destination across the UK.

Andrew Storey said: “I am honoured to have been elected as Chairman of Ballymena Town Centre Development Ltd, and look forward to working with the Board of Directors and Amanda Bennett, Town Centre Development Manager, to ensure we meet our strategic objectives and deliver real and meaningful change for those who live in, work in and visit Ballymena.

The Company Secretary and Treasurer, William Alexander is a Ballymena man born and bred with a passion and enthusiasm for the town which would be difficult to beat. Having worked as an accountant for 30 years William is amply qualified for the task ahead.
