The 21 year old Medicine student said: “It was an honour to be selected to represent Queen’s. It was a surreal experience being in the studio, with Jeremy Paxman asking the questions and hearing ‘Queen’s University, Gamble’ whenever the buzzer was pressed”.

Gareth is joined by Suzanne Cobain from Bangor, team captain Alexander Green from Manchester and reserve member Jonathan Malone from Belfast. They were all chosen after over 100 potential competitors were eliminated from qualified rounds within Queen’s.
